La Fuerza Aérea Colombiana (FAC), a través de su Comando Aéreo de Mantenimiento (Caman) y por medio del Centro de Metrología Conjunto (y de su Escuadrón Laboratorio de Ensayos-ESLAE), ha iniciado la realización de ensayos de caída libre para trenes de aterrizaje (Drop Test).
